Start in Cartagena, where colonial streets, warm evenings and Caribbean energy set the tone. Continue to Medellín, a city surrounded by green mountains and known for its creativity, neighbourhood culture and easy access to places like Guatapé. Then slow things down in the Coffee Region, where small towns, lush valleys and coffee traditions invite you to experience a quieter, more rural side of Colombia.

Trip Introduction

Colombia Highlights is designed for first-time visitors who want to experience several sides of the country without making the journey feel rushed.

Cartagena opens the trip with Caribbean history and atmosphere. Medellín brings a completely different energy, surrounded by mountains and contemporary culture. The Coffee Region finishes the journey at a slower pace, among green valleys, villages and coffee traditions.

Signature experiences are balanced with free time, giving you space to explore, relax and personalize the journey around the things that interest you most.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Cartagena

Arrival transfer and check-in at Casa Claver. Rest of the day free.

Day 2 – Cartagena

Cartagena City Tour. Discover the city’s historic and cultural highlights.

Day 3 – Cartagena

Free day. Optional island, food or cultural experiences can be added.

Day 4 – Cartagena to Medellín

Transfer to Cartagena Airport. Domestic flight to Medellín is not included. Arrival transfer to Landmark.

Day 5 – Medellín / Guatapé

Private Peñol + Guatapé experience.

Day 6 – Medellín

Free day. Optional Comuna 13, flowers, gastronomy or city experiences.

Day 7 – Medellín to Coffee Region

Private ground transfer to the Coffee Region. Check in at Mocawa.

Day 8 – Coffee Region
