Trip Introduction
This is the Caribbean side of Colombia: warm weather, colourful streets, tropical evenings and days shaped by the sea. It is an easy escape for anyone looking to trade cold winter months for sunshine — or simply step away from routine and relax.
Cartagena brings history and energy to the beginning of the trip. Its walled historic centre is one of the country’s best-known cultural landmarks and gives you time to discover plazas, balconies, music and Caribbean flavours.
Then the pace shifts on Isla Grande in the Rosario Islands. Staying at San Pedro de Majagua gives you time to wake up by the sea, enjoy the island surroundings and choose whether the day is about swimming, exploring or doing very little at all.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Cartagena
Arrival in Cartagena and transfer to Casa Claver. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.
Day 2 – Cartagena
Cartagena City Tour. A guided introduction to the city’s history, culture and most recognizable areas. Free time afterward.
Day 3 – Cartagena
Free day. Enjoy the historic centre, cafés, shopping or add an optional experience.
Day 4 – Cartagena
City Tour Panorámico & Getsemaní. Explore another side of Cartagena, including colourful Getsemaní. Evening free.
Day 5 – Cartagena to Isla Grande
Transfer to the dock and shared boat service to San Pedro de Majagua. Check in and enjoy a relaxed afternoon by the sea.
Day 6 – Isla Grande
Free Caribbean day. Optional water, nature or island experiences can be added.
Day 7 – Isla Grande
A second full day to slow down and enjoy the island. Spa, snorkeling, mangroves or private boating can be quoted separately.
Day 8 – Departure
Shared boat back to Cartagena followed by land transfer to the airport. End of services.
